Shortless just tidies the page in your browser, the way reader modes and content blockers do. Nothing is sent to YouTube, and your account is untouched.
Shorts filtering, settings and counters stay on your device. If you enable Slop patrol, visible video IDs, titles, channel names, description snippets and the page language go to our hosted service and Jev for assessment. Optional bug reports contain page structure and app details. The app has no analytics SDKs. Read the privacy policy for the details, including this website’s analytics.
Enable patrol in Settings to assess video metadata with Jev. No account or extra setup needed. Turn on Auto-hide to hide strong low-value matches, then review bounced videos in Shortless and choose Always show to bring one back when you return to Safari. Patrol checks metadata, not the video itself, and cannot verify whether AI made a video. If it is unsure or a check fails, the video stays visible.
YouTube shuffles its page markup regularly. When a Short sneaks past, the app shows a review card: you can see the exact anonymous payload and choose to send it, which helps us patch the gap.
